BODY
has 4 layers of 1.5 oz. fiberglass with black gelcoat. DOORS are hinged from front with stock hinges and latched in rear with rotary latches. FLOOR is fiberglass and installed with opening in floor and firewall over transmission (Transmission Cover included). The STEEL FRAME in the body is made with 1" & ¾" square tubing and 1x¼ flat bar. The frame goes around doors, from right to left, under roof at the back of doors, and right to left in cowl to mount steering. |
The TOP is chopped 2½". Doors are about 8" longer than stock coupe doors. REAR WHEEL WELLS are deepened 2" on each side for wider tires. BODY INCLUDES header panel, five garnish mouldings and '32 Ford style dash. FENDERS AND HOOD are 3 layers of 1.5 oz. fiberglass. REAR fenders have a rolled edge and are marked for easy mounting. FRONT fenders have flanges to mount headlight rings and are lengthened 9" to move fender running board seam from rear hood to front of door opening. They also have rolled edges. HOOD
is 3-pieces. Hood sides have 1934 Willys louvers. Hood top is one
piece. |
